Refunds
Unused credits, 14 days
Within 14 days of buying a pack, any credits you have not spent are refunded in full. You do not have to give a reason. The refund goes back to the card that paid, and the credits come off your balance.
Credits you have spent
Spent credits are not refunded. A session that transcribed, an answer that was written, a CV that was read — that work happened and was paid for on your behalf at the moment you asked for it.
The exception is work that failed. If a suggestion produced nothing, or an import fell over, the credits are returned automatically — you should not have to ask, and if a failure ever charges you, tell us and we will put it right.
After 14 days
Ask anyway. Credits do not expire, so there is rarely a reason to want money back rather than use them — but if something has gone wrong, a refund of the unused balance is usually the right answer and we would rather give one than argue.
How to ask
Email support@answersready.com from the address on the account, saying which purchase. Refunds are processed within five working days and Stripe takes a few more to return the money to your card.
Your legal rights
Nothing here reduces your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If this policy is ever less generous than the law, the law wins.
